A day in the life: *
Reporting into the General Manager: Engagement, Workplace Experience and Events, this role is charged with delivering exceptional and engaging employee experience and internal communication strategies and collateral to maintain and strengthen PEXA’s brand and reputation with employees.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Develop, implement and deliver innovative internal communication strategies, products and events to significantly contribute to corporate scorecard KPIs on employee engagement
- Lead the PEXA active listening strategy which includes monthly and annual survey and action planning
- Provide best practice insights into external market conditions on employee engagement Present with gravitas in order to establish trust and confidence with key Executive members to support their engagement needs
- Collaborate with PX Business Partners and business engagement champions on employee engagement insights and action outcomes
- Provide counsel to the senior executive team, including the CEO, with key internal communication messages/speech notes
- Develop and manage internal communications content to address multiple stakeholders
- Create and implement effective communications strategies to support internal campaigns
- Create strategies and narratives that appeal to a broad group of PEXArians both geographically and of background, thought and tenure
- Distil complex policy related issues to engaging and meaningful messaging and artefacts that meet brand guidelines
- Establish trusted & collaborative relationships with a range of business units to deliver on a wide range of programs and products that impact employees
- Provide guidance to the PXLT on executing internal communications within the PX team on strategy and key employee engagement initiatives
- Collaborate on strategic goals, providing insights into the development, execution and monitoring of employee strategies, programs and initiatives
- Using data insights & metrics, complete post campaign reviews including ROI assessment, and provide recommendations on future activity
**Skills and Experience**:
- Minimum 10+ years communications experience
- Completion of a relevant degree in Communications and/or Marketing or another related area; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and/or training
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing exceptional employee engagement strategies, ideally within a corporate environment
- Superior speech writing and communication skills able to deliver bespoke collateral tailored to key members of the Executive and for different mediums (i.e. events, Intranet, internal social media channels etc)
- Proficient and able to upload content and materials on channels such as Intranet (Confluence); Slack and other tools
- Experience leading and developing staff
