An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join the Palliative Care Unit at Western Health, Sunshine campus.
Our Palliative Care Unit is a 20 bed inpatient unit that provides complex symptom management and end of life care, predominantly for people who reside in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
**To be Successful in this Role you will have**:
- A Bachelor of Nursing qualification or equivalent
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience as ANUM or Nurse in Charge
- Experience in Palliative Care
- Leadership qualities and a positive approach
- Excellent clinical and organisational skills
- Experience working closely within a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or Associate Nurse Unit Manager
- Critical thinking abilities, prioritisation and communication skills
- Excellent clinical and leadership capabilities
- A commitment to high quality, safe and person centred patient care
