Our Client is one of Australasia's largest privately-owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations.
About the role
- We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Quantity Surveyor / Tendering
methodologies and leading bids for challenging and diverse Building and Construction
projects
Key Responsibilities
- Review RFT, RFP and RFQ documentation to determine requirements in the planning of tenders.
- Develop lists of required pricing components and identify associated subcontractors and suppliers.
- Preparation of project take-offs
- Cost estimating (using Cost X) and preparation of all relating tender schedules
- Development of tender programs
- Develop construction methodologies
- Submission of detailed bids
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and other key stakeholders
- Provide detailed handovers to the delivery project teams
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience
- Experience in Building and Construction elemental estimates
- Degree qualifications in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Proficient computing skills including MS Word, advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Cost X (preferred)
- High level of interpersonal skills including a good phone manner and positive relationships with a network of South Australian Suppliers and Subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Salary range offered based upon experience between $75,000-$85,000 per annum + superannuation).
