As a key leadership role in the Digital Systems, the Cybersecurity Head of Discipline will play an integral part in accomplishing discipline excellence and spearheading world-class solutions and systems for secure and dependable communications on land, at sea, in the air and in space.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the cyber products/solutions and practices
- Manage resourcing to accomplish competitive project delivery
- Inspire and catalyse improvement of best processes
- Build a clear vision and direction in Cybersecurity initiatives to enable a learning culture and to ensure state of the art solutions
- Responsible for the adoption of new technologies linked to the business
- Foster collaboration with other disciplines to define multi-discipline solutions with added value

**Requirements**:

- Expert knowledgeable in multiple levels of cybersecurity practices and substantial knowledge of Cybersecurity
- Familiarity with Cyber risks analysis and Cyber Crisis Management within multiple domains (defence, government, civil)
- Must have ability to provide cybersecurity advice and guidance on complex projects to ensure that the security architecture is defined based on a risk analysis
- Passion to engage and develop your team through the use of collaborative work and challenging approaches
- Ability to capitalise on the laws, norms and standards in order to help define an efficient cybersecurity strategy for the organisation
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with senior management, customers and partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strongly focused and self-motivated
- High energy, driven to innovate, and a team player
- Relevant degree, ideally graduated with a Master of Engineering or Computer Science or you have significant experience in team management

**Good to Know**

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.

Prior to offer you’ll complete a pre-employment police and medical.
