**About us**
The Children's Court of Victoria (ChCV) has jurisdiction under the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 to hear cases involving children and young people up to the age of 18 years, and in some cases up to 19 years. It has a Family Division and a Criminal Division and it sits at locations throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
**About the role**
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining effective and consistent court and registry operations at the Melbourne Children's Court.
The role is responsible for the daily operations of the Court including the management of staff and ensuring all legal, quasi-judicial and administrative functions are provided in accordance with the various Acts, Rules and Regulations across all relevant jurisdictions.
The position has significant technical components as well as team leadership and people management responsibilities, requiring highly developed skills and experience and an advanced understanding of the Court's practices, procedures and systems.
