The Dental Van is a new and exciting mobile dental service based in Deer Park. Our mission is to make dental care fun, accessible, and stress-free for children by bringing high-quality dental care directly to schools across Victoria.

We’re a passionate and growing team, and we’re looking for caring, reliable Dental Assistants who are excited to help us create positive dental experiences for kids.

The Role

We are seeking a friendly and motivated **Dental Assistant** to join our team. In this role, you’ll support our dentists and oral health therapists in providing dental services to children, help with smooth day-to-day operations of the mobile dental van, and ensure students feel comfortable and cared for.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and energetic team while helping us grow a brand-new dental service.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist/oral health therapist with dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment
- Set up the van for daily clinics and maintain a clean, organised environment
- Provide chairside assistance and patient support during treatments
- Record and manage patient information accurately
- Help children feel at ease and ensure they have a positive dental experience
- Support with stock management and smooth running of the van

About You
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (or relevant experience)
- Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in dental assisting preferred but not essential—enthusiasm and willingness to learn are just as important
- Friendly, approachable, and confident working with kids
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to travel across schools in Victoria
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
