**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Specialist Account Manager** to join our high performing Cardiometabolic team for a two-year contract. You will have full ownership and accountability for managing accounts within your territory; providing a consistent, science led and value-added service for Cardiology, Endocrinology and Renal. Based in Perth, your territory covers all of western Australia.

**Your role will be varied and will include**:

- Implementing comprehensive key account plans to drive value and deliver growth
- Supporting the implementation of key programs which differentiate and enhance GSK’s standing in the healthcare market
- Ensuring that key accounts and stakeholders are engaged, educated and informed to support the patient journey and enhance the quality use of medicines
- Working in partnership with GSK commercial, medical and sales teams to deliver objectives in line with GSK strategic objectives

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Significant experience in hospital specialist or key account manager positions, with an applied understanding of the complexities of working in the hospital environment is essential
- Experience and knowledge of the cardiology, endocrinology and renal therapeutic areas would be preferred
- Clear and influential communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both medical and commercial stakeholders
- An aptitude for science, with the ability to relay complex information in a clear and tailored format
- A sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding account management, influencing and relationship-building skills.
