We’re looking for a passionate **Program Officer** to join our team at **Intercept** to deliver the **Ready Set Go program,**a Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative focused on helping young people build pathways into education, training, and employment.

**_ Location: Based at Intercept - Caboolture_**
**_Program Delivery Location: Kilcoy (using service vehicle)_**
**_Employment Type: Part-Time - 6 Days Per Fortnight (45.6 hours per fortnight)_**

**About The Role**:
Empower Young People to Discover Their Path. You’ll support young people to identify strengths, pursue education or training, and move toward sustainable employment or life goals.
As a Program Officer, you will:

- Support young people aged 15-19 through mentoring and coaching
- Help participants set and work towards education, training, and job readiness goals
- Facilitate individual and small-group sessions to build confidence, skills and motivation
- Coordinate with community providers, schools and employers for tailored support
- Develop and review personal development and pathway plans
- Provide case coordination and referrals to ensure holistic care and guidance

**About You**:

- Experience in youth work, career development, training, or education support
- Able to connect meaningfully with young people from diverse backgrounds
- Skilled in goal setting, communication, and mentoring
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Strong record-keeping, reporting, and time-management abilities

**Essential Requirements**:

- Valid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening
- QLD Driver’s Licence
- Intermediate computer literacy
