**About Us**:
WISE Employment (WISE) is a successful not-for-profit organisation, committed to providing quality NDIS and other services including employment, training, occupational rehabilitation and allied health services.

WISE is launching NDIS in South Australia with this new role and are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to build our new team from the ground up.

Working with other WISE services in the area, community stakeholders and directly with Participants, you will build a small case load then begin employing Support Workers to deliver NDIS services in
**Elizabeth **and surrounding regions in North Adelaide.

**About the program**:
Through NDIS, WISE provides supports for participants with current funding in their NDIS plans. WISE specialises in the following areas of services and support for participants:

- Social and Recreational Activity
- Capacity Building in life and employment
- School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES)

**Your new role**:
The position involves both leading/mentoring a small team as well as directly supporting people with disability.

As a
**Team Leader,** you will work 20 hours per week, preferably 4 x 5 hour days in this capacity, in a flexible arrangement from home, in the community and at WISE’s Elizabeth office
**.**

Reporting to the General Manager based in Victoria and working with an experienced team of managers in other states, the
**Team Leader** role is responsible for delivering goal oriented support and services to participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You will take responsibility for the delivery of high quality services, referrals, rostering, professional development and supervision of a small team of Support Workers and positive participant outcomes.

Understanding the dynamic nature of support work and be dedicated to minimising the risks associated with the service, you will provide effective individualised and tailored supports to NDIS participants to enable them to achieve their goals. These supports will promote community inclusion, independence, decision making, choice and control.

Remuneration for the role is $68,172 FTE, plus super, plus Not for Profit salary packaging ($35,880 pro-rata per annum for 20 hours per week).

To aid you in this role, you will be provided with an Ultrabook with cellular connectivity, as well as an iPhone.

**What we are looking for**:

- Experience in successfully leading or managing a small team;
- Proven experience in achieving desired program outcomes;
- Well-developed knowledge of the Disability Services Sector;
- Skills & experience in working with people with disability;
- Ability to use initiative and handle a variety of activities concurrently and with mínimal supervision;
- Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organisational, time management and presentation skills;
- Current drivers licence and own transport.
