**The role**:
The New Homes Consultant provides a first point of contact for customers enquiring about new home sales from within the Fairmont First range. The Consultant’s role is to support lead generation and help facilitate the client’s journey from initial enquiry to final contract.
You will provide expert advice on all aspects of the range, the design choices and upgrade options available, and explain the building journey ahead. You will provide guidance and support in finding the right block and finance solution to complete the process via our referral partners.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure a deep knowledge of the Fairmont building journey, range, and applicable options to personalise the home
- Work with clients in ensuring the integration of finance and land to present the complete solution
- Provide support to clients post contract signing to minimise delays and cancellations
- Develop and deliver lead generation and contract sales targets
- Develop strong relationships with Homeward Finance to assist clients with pre-approval / savings plans / to unlock financial capacity to convert
- Work collaboratively and contribute to the growth of ideas and innovations within the Fairmont team
- Maintain communication channels and standards of professionalism to ensure a positive customer experience
- Support administration with the processing and workflow of clients
**To be successful in the role**:
- Have a minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably within home sales
- Genuine enthusiasm and excitement for the housing industry, design, and a passion for helping and talking to people
- Have a strong understanding of the sales process to enable leads generation and conversion
- Be highly motivated and skilled demonstrating consistently strong performance by meeting expected targets
- Excellence in providing customer service, to ensure a customer is satisfied with Fairmont’s product and service
- Exceptional organisational skills, able to stay focused on different tasks, and meet deadlines
- Superior negotiation skills with the ability to reach an agreement that's acceptable to both the customer and Builder
- Current driver's licence and a car
- Qualification in design and / or construction related degree are desirable (including real estate licence)
