The Reading Country Practice Lead will sit within the BCLM team to act as the principal lead for interpreting and implementing bio cultural land management practice as guided by the Taungurung Cultural Land Management strategy.

**Status**: Part time (0.6 FTE)

**Term**: Fixed term 12 months with further extension based on funding availability.

**Location**: Alexandra, with flexibility for some work from home

**Key Duties**
- Manage commercial contracts
- Engage effectively with external stakeholders, partners and clients
- Negotiate commercial contracts and effectively coordinate or deliver all aspects of the contract
- Provide technical support to other project officers including:

- Collaborative development and implementation of field a ssessment methodology, reporting structure and data analysis
- Management and development of spatial data systems, including mapping, analysis, field data capture and processing
- Ability to interpret ecological spatial data to inform practice.
- On Country biocultural active management
- Support the implementation and realisation of Bio Cultural land management practice as guided by the TCLM strategy.
- Collation and processing of field data
- Technical data systems management
- Interpret field data to inform practice, methodology and adaptive management.
- Operate effectively within all relevant legislation
- Act with integrity as a part of a cohesive team, upholding TLaWC and Biik Cultural Land Management values
- Comply with all safety policies, procedures and work instructions to support a safe work environment for all staff.
