**How will I help?**

An exciting opportunity is available for a Business Insights Leader to join our team. This role forms part of the Leadership team within the Business Intelligence and Visualisation (BI&V) team in the Consumer Chief Data Office (CDO), and supports the Head of BI&V in delivering on the BI&V Strategy by providing customer and business value add reporting through data driven insights.

This role leads the Business Insights team, which is focused on providing reporting capability and expertise to the Consumer division through the delivery of reporting that drives insights and value add. The team also lead in design thinking and support the creation of new reporting at either the request of the business or through proactive identification of reporting needs and benefits.

Your key responsibilities include:

- Be regarded, and consulted as a trusted adviser on matters regarding insights driven reporting and visualisation, to enable customer and business value generation.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify and enable efficient and effective insights driven reporting and work with the team to prioritise and deliver reporting capabilities across the Consumer division.
- Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships between the CDO BI&V team and stakeholder across the Consumer division, and other parts of the Group as required to undertake the role effectively.
- Optimise existing reporting for efficient and automated delivery, aligned to the Group's strategic BI&V tools of choice.
- Partner with the broader CDO BI&V LT to ensure responsibilities across portfolios are aligned to report delivery approaches and are optimised for efficient and effective insights driven reporting that meets business needs.
- Encourage and role model the use of the 'should we' test in day-to-day decisions and outcomes.
- Always act as an ambassador for the CDO in delivery and behaviours, and ensure the team do so as well.
- Work with the BI&V leadership team to maintain ongoing support for empowered, self-organising teams with active leadership engagement and communications to set teams up for success.
- Lead the team within the Group's requirements, ensuring the team are enabled to succeed and meet the required HR and Financial obligations, health and wellbeing, structures, and financial management.

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role, you need to have the following skills:

- Extensive experience (8+ years) in business intelligence and data visualisation, ideally within the Australian banking and finance industry or a related sector.
- Proven track record of leading successful BI programs and projects, from strategy development to execution and evaluation, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes and customer value.
- Expertise in data visualisation and storytelling, using various tools and techniques to create impactful and engaging reports, dashboards, and presentations for different audiences and purposes.
- Solid knowledge of BI technologies and platforms, such as data warehouses, ETL tools, reporting and analytics tools, and self-service BI tools, and their selection, implementation, and maintenance.
- Strong verbal and written communications.
- Proven ability to deliver multiple high quality outcomes in very tight timeframes and a pressured environment.
- Proven ability in managing diverse and multiple stakeholder groups.
- Work effectively with leaders across the business.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management experience and working with senior stakeholders.
