Reporting to the Production Manager, the Material Analyst is accountable for coordinating and accurately reporting production in SAP, Kiwiplan, control of raw materials (in production), work in progress (WIP) and packaging materials required for production to ensure inventory accuracy at 98%+, while focusing on waste verification/analysis for all production orders. You will contribute to the success of opal completing the following:

- Monitor production in SAP & Kiwiplan, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of output, waste.
- Daily WIP and shipper inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Liaise with Production planner on inventory counts and future production requirements.
- Work with site Finance, Warehousing and Production Teams to close production orders from prior day, after reconciling and adjusting raw material, waste and finished goods inventory.
- Perform root cause investigation on discrepancies.
- Ensure standardised processes and conditions are developed, understood, implemented and used across all teams to meet customer and business requirements.
- Participate in, and lead, continuous improvement projects by implementing lean manufacturing and statistical process controls.

- Experience working in a high volume, fast paced, complex manufacturing environment
- Previous experience and solid knowledge in warehouse/inventory management and control
- Demonstrated problem solving, technical and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP, Kiwiplan ( optional ), Microsoft Office suite
- Working knowledge of production planning processes
