We are hiring an experienced Commercial Analyst - Sales & Marketing to join our Princess Cruises team based in our office in Chatswood, Sydney. This is a full time 12-month maternity leave contract reporting into the Director, Market Planning. You will regularly analyse and provide insights across sales channels and marketing programs to prioritise and develop high-value audience segments aimed at driving revenue growth. This requires close collaboration with key members of the Sales & Marketing team, including the Sales & Marketing Director and the Head of Sales Operations. Develop and maintain budget models for travel agent incentive programs and marketing activities. Oversee the development and implementation of new sales and marketing initiatives, as well as the selection of relevant technologies and systems.

**Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Regularly produce and deliver reports on key marketing metrics, using data from Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Siebel, and other sources. Provide summary analyses, identify trends, and recommend actions, while comparing results with internal booking data to assess the effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of travel partner and Sales Manager activity by trade, offering insights that support decision-making and help the Sales team optimize distribution opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboard reports in collaboration with the media agency, analysing 'above the line' advertising campaigns, including print, TV, outdoor, and digital, to extract key learnings.
- Track the utilisation of sales tools by Sales Managers and trade, guiding the Sales team to focus on Partnership agents and major national accounts to maximise program benefits, such as Select Sailing and Cruise Sales.
- Collaborate with the Market Planning Analyst to prepare analysis and slides for Weekly Trading Meetings, providing deep dives into distribution by trade and recommending solutions for inventory challenges.
- Partner with the Business Systems team to enhance decision-making support tools and dashboards within Salesforce, with a focus on automating exception reporting and improving overall efficiency.

**About You**:
**To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated**:

- 2+ years of experience in a Commercial Analyst role
- 2 years of experience delivering analytics and targeted campaigns within large businesses, ideally in Travel, FMCG, eCommerce, or agency settings.
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, and PowerBI
- Experience in Google/Adobe Analytics and SQL preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise competing tasks effectively.
- Proven track record in clearly defining problems, gathering necessary data, analysing results, and synthesising compelling insights.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define issues, gather data, analyse results, and synthesise insights.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly present insights and recommendations to various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, collaborative attitude with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in both team and independent settings.
