**Position**:
Braemar College is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Health and Physical Education (HPE) with a passion for education. The opportunity may include teaching classes up to and including VCE at our Mt Macedon and Woodend Campuses.

The position is full-time and ongoing and exists due to a resignation. However, if you are wanting part-time there may be flexibility for us to consider a part-time allotment.

We continue to embed a culture of personalised learning to achieve high standards of learning and teaching for all students.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain high standards of learning and teaching, assessment and reporting that is relevant, collaborative and future focused.
- Use data to inform differentiated practice.
- Plan collaboratively with teaching teams.
- Be enthusiastic about teaching HPE.
- Deliver and promote student wellbeing within the College.

**About You**:
It is expected that you will:

- Be enthusiastic about the education of young people.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the HPE curriculum.
- Have recent experience in teaching HPE.
- Be open to the possibilities of teaching in flexible learning spaces.
- Be a highly skilled and dedicated teacher that contributes to the team.
- Display sound knowledge of teaching pedagogies and practices with a focus on developing students' knowledge and skills.
- Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach Health and Physical Education up to Year 12.
- Have a proven ability to participate effectively in a team environment.
- Hold current Teacher registration with VIT.

In addition, the preferred applicant will have an understanding of and commitment to, the ethos of Independent Schooling and a willingness to contribute to College events and adhere to the College's 'Child Safety Policy'.
