**The Role**
As a Maintenance Scheduler, working in Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB) in the Department of Defence, you will be working on some of the most exciting and complex guided weapons and explosive ordnance products used by the Australian Defence Force.

As an APS5 Maintenance Scheduler in Explosive Materiel Branch, you will be given the unique opportunity to work within a diverse team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence Capability.

You will spend your days;
- Assisting in developing and co-ordinating forward plans and projections for the Navy/RAAF/ARMY Missile Maintenance process lines,
- Planning and delivering critical maintenance, engineering activities;
- Providing advice to stakeholders;
- Mentoring junior members; and
- Enabling good inventory decisions with quality and timely maintenance advice.

There may be some domestic business travel associated with this position.

EMB Explosive Ordnance Maintenance Directorate - East is an integral part of Explosive Materiel Branch which is part of the new Guided Weapons Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Delivery Division. Our team is made up of various disciplines (including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services). We are located in Canberra, Penrith, Amberley, Melbourne and Stirling, and our focus is to acquire and sustain guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force.
