**Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not for profit In Home Care Child Care Service servicing the Northern Rivers area and Gold Coast.**

We have a family in Robina, Queensland that is looking for a second Educator two days a week Monday and Friday. (Currently there is an Educator that works Tuesday to Thursday in the home)

Family Unit of 5, 4 children. IHC is required for 1 x 3 year old children in the family who have some medical needs (Global Development Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD)

The educator will be required to focus on developmentally appropriate activities to foster and expand upon the developmental milestones.

**Days and Hours**:
Monday and Friday

6am to 4pm

(10 hour shift)

**Start date**:
ASAP

**Hourly rate**:
$35.50 per hour

**Qualifications and Criteria required**:

- _**Certificate III in Children’s Services or higher (must be a relevant and approved Child Care Qualification)**_
- _**Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate - Childcare First Aid Training HLTAID004**_
- _**Blue Card and Police Clearance**_
- _**Liability insurance (once successfully placed with a family approx. $43.00 per month)**_
- _**Medical Clearance**_
- _**Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)**_
- _**ABN**_
- _**Photo ID**_
- _**PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)**_
- _**This is a contractor role (self employed)**_

Northern Rivers IHC does not charge new or existing IHC Educators any registration fees. However, we do provide Educators with outstanding support, with many services and materials free of charge, including:

- _All relevant and necessary information to fulfill their role as an IHC Educator._
- _Regular visits from an IHC Manager who is qualified to assist them with all aspects of the care and education of young children_
- _Newsletters, forms, checklists, policies, procedures, and resource ideas to assist them in their role as an Educator_
- _Exciting and information playgroup sessions as well as access to an extensive range of toys and resources from our free toy library_
- _Processing of weekly attendance records and deposit of CCS payments electronically into their bank account_
- _Harmony Web Training_
- _Free access to professional development_

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $35.50 per hour
