**The Role**:
- Join a leading 600-bed Tertiary Hospital as an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Senior Registrar on a full-time basis.
- The facility is RANZCOG accredited and has the capacity to treat specialist and complex cases allowing you a wide variety in order to master your skill set.
The position includes supervision of junior trainees and staff and a small administration component. The clinical role can be tailored to suit the requirements of the particular applicant, which would include broad exposure to the subspecialties including exposure to extensive laparoscopic surgery. There is a strong history of research and audit at the Hospital and participation in this is expected. Ample opportunities exist for collaborative research with a local University, School of Medical Research and the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health.
**The Hospital**:
Our client is a large public hospital providing emergency, acute and sub-acute services. This hospital also has strong research links with universities.
This facility sees near 3800 births per year and is a referral centre for high risk pregnancies for the region. It is also the only Tertiary Care Perinatal Unit between Sydney and Melbourne and has a busy Fetal Medicine Unit. The Hospital’s Centre for Newborn Care has 700 admissions per year, a busy Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with a regional role extending throughout southern NSW and over 200 level 3 admissions each year.
The Centenary hospital for Women and Children provides Maternity, Gynaecology, Neonatal, Paediatric and Adolescent services. Plans are in place for further expansion to accommodate more postnatal beds, expanded Maternity Assessment Unit, Gynaecological Procedure Suite and Neonatal Intensive Care facilities.

Based in one of Australia’s diverse and cosmopolitan cities, this location offers everything and more. This is a fantastic base from which to explore the many treasures of the surrounding region. Explore natural wonders, beautiful waterways and the famous Snowy Mountains a few hours’ drive away; Sydney is less than 3hrs’ drive. The city boasts prestigious grammar, private and public schools and a wide variety of facilities and is home to many social and cultural institutions of national significance.

- O&G Registrars / RANZCOG Trainees
- IMGs who have had their Specialist training assessed by RANZCOG and found to be comparable.
- CA-pathway doctors with relevant experience.
- NZ O&G Reg
- IMG with RANZCOG interview date or outcome
