Stable Hand

Oakwood Riding School is a not for profit organisation located in Clyde North. We have been a leader in equestrian education for over 60 years.

Based on 100 acres we own 23 school horses and provide premium agistment for an additional 35 horses. We conduct more than 3,000 horse riding lessons per year and host a variety of equestrian events and clinics.

**A great opportunity exists for an experienced and dedicated Stable Hand to join our team.**

Duties will include;
- Feeding out
- Rugging
- Handling a wide range of horses from Warmbloods to School Horses
- General stable cleaning
- Tacking up and untacking horses for lessons
- Picking up paddocks
- Proven experience in handling and working around horses in a professional environment
- Be reliable and available to work some weekends
- A strong work ethic with the ability to manage time effectively

This is a casual position with the opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Clyde, VIC 3978: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- professional horse handling: 1 year (required)
