We are looking for a part-time Security Officer to join our team at a modern facility at Maitland Hospital. In this role, you will provide 24/7 security services, ensuring a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will respond to emergencies (Code Blacks, Duress, and Fire Alarms), conduct internal and external patrols, assist with patient care in accordance with security policies, and maintain overall security of the premises and property.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct internal and external patrols.
- Respond to Code Blacks, Duress, and Fire Alarms.
- Assist with emergency situations and basic first aid.
- Manage access control and escort individuals as needed.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors.

**Skills & Experience**:

- NSW 1A Security Licence (Essential).
- Current First Aid Certificate (Essential)
- Ability to work a 24/7 flexible roster - shifts consist of 12Hrs (06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 06:00)
- Basic computer skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Eligible to drive in NSW and willingness to travel to sites across HNELHD

Security Officers work in teams of 2, all staff are supported by Security Manager on the job training and orientation will be provided. Professional development and education are encouraged and supported. All staff undergo annual performance development reviews.
