**We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Revenue Officer to join our Aboriginal Health Team.**

Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) delivers a culturally safe and focused comprehensive primary health service. The SALHN Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health service team actively support local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to work towards improving their health and wellbeing by working with individuals, families, and the local community.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Director Operations, this role offers an exciting chance to be part of a dedicated team that prioritizes patient care and healthcare excellence. You will have the opportunity to work alongside skilled professionals, learn from experienced mentors, and develop your expertise in a supportive and inclusive environment. Duties for the role will include:

- Hospital Billing and private practice administration processes.
- Generation of invoices.
- Generation of claims from Medicare, Health Funds and other third parties.
- Processing of associated doctor and hospital disbursements and funds transfers.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated ability to work in a culturally sensitive and account manner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Families and communities,
- Confidence, empathy and integrity in all interactions with clients,
- Previous experience working in a health-related billing/receivables/cashiering/debt recovery processing environment,
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads.
