An opportunity has arisen for a reliable and experienced skid steer operator to join our team. The position on offer involves operating our skid steer and collection vehicles within the Perth Metro Area in our Verge Waste collection team.

**Job Summary**

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Working within a team to collect verge waste (hard waste and green waste)
- Operate Skid Steer with grab bucket in a safe manner and with due care on site.
- Complete necessary paperwork and submit to Logistics Officer on a daily basis.
- Comply with company and client specific policies and procedures.
- The loading of our collection vehicles with waste and green waste from residents verge.
- Ensuring the collection area is left clean, with no damage.

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
- In order to be successful in this position, you will need to have:

- A current skid steer operator ticket with minimum 3 years experience.
- Highly Desirable, A current and valid unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
- Experience with verge collection services is desirable.
- Positive attitude and desire for continuous improvement.
- The ability to work autonomously for extended periods of time and within a team environment.
- Professionalism in representing the company to key stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
