You will join an experienced IT team who are passionate about sharing ideas and collaborating closely with various departments (including IT, finance, and operations), ensuring seamless procurement processes and supporting overall business objectives.

**Are you up for the challenge?**:
We are looking for a talented **IT Procurement Analyst** to join our IT team based out of John Holland’s state-of-the-art Flinders Gate office in Melbourne.

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day procurement needs of the business, ensuring IT hardware, software, and telephony needs of the business are fulfilled and maintained through the procurement lifecycle process.

**About the Role**:

- Support 3rd party service provider for Telephony support and guidance
- Assist in coordination of software, contract renewals, upgrades, and retirements, in line with the hardware & software lifecycle process
- Support the Procurement strategy by:

- Engaging with stakeholders and team members to identify areas of potential improvement in IT procurement
- Management of all IT procurement including purchasing IT assets, creating purchase requisitions, purchase orders, tracking and receipting of deliveries and cost allocations
- Monitor, follow up and advise users on the progress of outstanding requests logged in ServiceNow
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure SLA’s are met
- Troubleshoot supplier problems, issues / faults and liaise with suppliers to resolve them. Escalate when necessary
- Communicate delivery delays and recommend alternative options
- Management of the IT asset database, ensuring all issued assets are appropriately recorded
- Monitoring of stock levels to ensure sufficient stock is available for distribution
- Update the knowledge repository as required
- Knowledge and adherence of procurement policies and procedures, ensuring all digital and IT assets issued comply with JH policies

**About You**:
This position will require demonstrated experience in IT procurement, having worked in a similar role previously, as well as proficiency in ServiceNow, Software Asset Management, and Microsoft Office.

You will enjoy working collaboratively and be able to foster effective strategic relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally. Your ability to provide a great user experience and deliver IT support aligned to the business requirements will see you succeed in the role
