A kind, loving and professional family in Curl Curl are seeking a bubbly, warm and engaging nanny to support mum with her newborn baby and also care for their happy and bright 3 year old boy.
NOTE: Mum has been classed as a high risk pregnancy and is currently 33 weeks into her pregnancy. She is expecting the baby to arrive early and will be staying in hospital until the baby is born. This role is a support role caring for the 3 year old boy at home during this time and then continued support in the home.
**The days and normal hours are:
- 5 days - 25 hours - flexible on hours**
**Monday 7am - 10am & 4pm - 7pm**
**Tuesday 7am - 10am & 4pm - 7pm**
**Wednesday 7am - 11am**
**Thursday 1pm - 7pm**
**Friday 7am - 10am**
An ideal nanny will have a calm and nurturing approach. A nanny who is confident and is able to be creative and engage in play with the child. A nanny that is flexible and can adapt to the different needs of the baby, whilst supporting and working alongside the Mum.
The family have a pet cat that may need to be fed on occasions, so the nanny must be comfortable with pets.

**The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows-**
- To care for the child and take to activities
- Follow routines and schedules
- Take the child to daycare and pick up
- Walks to the local park
- Meal preparation and cooking for the family
- Children’s laundry
- Bedtime routines
- Clean up after dinner
- Generally keeping main areas clean and tidy
**The family's expectations from their nanny are-**
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny/child care experience
- Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)
- Have a current working with children's check number
- Display strong communication skills and speak English
- To be fit, healthy and active
- NSW Drivers licence, clean driving record and own car
- Honest and reliable
- Non smoking
- Up to date with all vaccinations including covid 19
