Academic Services Reports Manager

Full-time | Starts April 2025

**About the Position**

The Academic Services Reports Manager oversees and manages student academic reporting processes to ensure compliance with school policies and curriculum requirements. This includes confirming reporting timelines and assessment criteria, maintaining databases and Learning Management Systems for Assessment and Reporting.

The Academic Services Reports Manager manages the production and distribution of various student reports and student certificates, collaborates on design and quality control and coordinates electronic deliveries. Additionally, the position manages class performance graphs, Learning Management Systems and Database reporting processes, and database lookup tables for academic reports.

**Key Selection Criteria**
- Extensive skills in working with complex Databases or reporting systems.
- Understanding of reporting processes and auditing requirements within a database or reporting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and manage a reporting system that aligns with set standards.
- Proficiency in data entry, analysis and management using student information systems and reporting software with a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with design guidelines.
- Proficiency in using relevant software tools for report generation, data analysis and information management.
- Experience in an educational environment highly regarded.
- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Capacity to troubleshoot technical issues related to data integration and reporting tools.
- Willingness to stay current with trends in educational reporting and data management practices.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Key knowledge and experience in educational technology, information management, database management or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or coursework in data management and educational reporting systems are advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing academic reporting processes within an educational institution, preferably in a school environment. Demonstrated proficiency in data management, reporting software, and student information systems such as a School Learning Management System, and School database is essential.
- A degree with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience and specialist expertise, or broad knowledge in a technical or administrative field and/or training.
