As a **Campaign Manager,** you will get to work on a wide range of important programs and initiatives that directly impact the health and wellbeing of Australians.

These positions require communications experience, preferably in a government environment, along with tertiary qualifications in strategic communications, public relations, marketing, digital communications or a related field.

To be successful you will have strong strategic thinking, and exceptional writing, editing and content creation skills. You will be great at managing components of projects, budgets and timelines to deliver great communication outcomes. You will exercise sound judgement, demonstrate active listening and have a high degree of initiative.

**Key Responsibilities**
***:

- Develop, implement and evaluate appropriate communication strategies to achieve their objectives.
- Oversee financial and procurement processes where required
- Liaise with external suppliers including creative, media and research agencies where required to deliver strategies
- Prepare appropriate submissions for campaign approval by Executive, Ministers and government committees
- Manage strategy implementation timelines, ensuring that risks are managed
- Supervise and develop subordinate staff.

**Key Capabilities**
***:

- Prior experience within Federal Government campaign/advertising/marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven experience in the development of communication and marketing products.
- Proven ability to manage and work in teams including developing capabilities and managing workloads.
- Proven success in influencing and negotiating positive outcomes with a range of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to prioritise and work flexibly across a range of communication projects to meet critical deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management of communication activities.
- Proven ability to understand and comply with Guidelines on Information and Advertising Campaigns by non-corporate Commonwealth entities.
- A communication degree or significant related experience.
- Please note baseline security clearance is a requirement for this position.
