**About the Opportunity**
Acacia Prison is Western Australia’s largest prison located approximately 50 km east of Perth. The medium security facility operated by Serco is responsible for the management of 1,525 male prisoners. We take pride in our prisoner rehabilitation programs, safety record, service delivery to our customers and our pro-social learning environment.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Engage and collaborate with community service partners, not-for-profit organisations and external agencies, such as Department of Housing, to support the reintegration needs of individual prisoners.
- Interact positively and productively with prisoners, role modelling professional and pro-social behaviours.
- Identify resources, further supports and other means to provide assistance to the rehabilitation and reintegration needs of prisoners, particularly in the areas of accommodation, drug and alcohol support, financial and legal support, family and domestic relationships and other in-community support.
- Daily scheduling of prisoners into interviews, appointments, and voluntary services
- Manage prisoner information in a confidential manner.
**About you - your ideal skills & experience**
- Relevant diploma or certificate qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in the area of human services, or education and training.
- Relevant experience working within corrective services, justice or the not-for-profit space.
- Ability to effectively manage data systems
- Ability to effectively communicate and liaise with not-for-profit organisations and external agencies.
- Ability to seek and implement process and procedural improvements in the provision of rehabilitation and reintegration services
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a Federal police check as an essential selection component for this role._
