**About the role**

Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As a **Member Education Officer** in our newly created Retirement division, you will have the opportunity to engage with and support our members firsthand. This role will see you supported by a whole team of experienced Member Education Officers who will provide training on the job.

Key responsibilities:

- Deliver content on financial education and wellbeing through various channels including workplaces, workshops and trade stands
- Develop and deliver a range of seminars to Australian Retirement Trust members and non-members throughout Queensland
- Deliver general advice to members whilst also supporting the ongoing development and design of the Member Education Program

**About you**

You love working independently and are not afraid to speak in front of large groups. You are open to occasional travel outside of Brisbane and surrounding areas. Furthermore, your skills, expertise and qualifications may include the following:

- RG146 compliant (mandatory)
- A current valid Australian driver’s licence will be required to undertake this role
- Strong up-to-date knowledge and understanding of retirement, superannuation, and investment related strategies, legislation and compliance requirements (desirable)
- Experience in effectively delivering a range of seminars/ presentations/ workshops to diverse & large audiences (desirable)
- Ability to generate sales leads for various financial services and products
- Diploma of Financial Services / Superannuation &/or Financial planning (desirable)
