An awesome opportunity is currently available for a Product Analyst to join a highly innovative travel brand, that has evolved over the years to now be one of Australia's most trusted providers within the travel industry.
**The Role**:
In this role you will gather analysis and insights on customer behaviour, competitor landscape and relationships between different products (at a portfolio level) to ensure new bundles are tailored to the customer’s needs and are specific to markets, persona’s and channels as well as undertaking impact assessments of proposed new processes or products to ensure that changes can be delivered on time and budget. You will track existing bundle performance for P&L performance with a specific eye on the relationship between products to ensure overall profitability is achieved.
You will work closely with the Product Managers and Portfolio Managers to ensure that the right customer insights and commercials drive product design decisions across the whole portfolio to ensure the business meets the portfolio growth targets.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide competitor, customer & commercial insights to Product & Portfolio teams to drive product design decisions and performance of products in line with budgets.
- Support the development of business cases
- High-level commercial modelling to help inform product decisions
- Impact assessments for new proposals & products
- Be proactive in identifying gaps in the market, customer needs and commercial opportunities to help inform decisions on product levers including product, price, channels, merchandising/promotions etc.
- Track and ensure pricing is optimised to drive incremental product take up and maximise profitability across the portfolio
- Work across multiple projects as well as BAU, supporting the product and portfolio teams in delivering project strategies and hitting targets
**Key Requirements**:
- 2-3 years’ analyst (product or business) experience preferred.
- Strong commercial & financial acumen and analytical skills
- Self-Starter who enjoys problem solving and identifying opportunities
- Team player who also works well autonomously with situational support from their manager and team
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills including excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organisation
- Strong problem solving skills.
- A naturally curious operator
You will be a comfortable multi-tasker, jumping from customer insights, commercial modelling to business impact assessments, liaising with multiple stakeholders across different geographic regions within Australia and Asia Pac.
