**About the role**
Join QIC's Corporate Accounting and Operations workgroup as a Payroll Officer on a permanent basis to deliver operational service excellence for QIC’s Global workforce. You will provide end to end preparation and processing of Payroll across Australia, United States and UK. You will gain exposure to top tier financial software whilst building your payroll career within a high performing organisation.
This position is primarily responsible for payroll processing, including:

- End to End preparation and processing of regular and ad hoc payrolls for Australia, United Kingdom and United States.
- End of Month reconciliations between ADP Payroll and Oracle HCM.
- Monthly Superannuation processing, administration and reporting per Super stream and legislated requirements.
- Providing assistance to the Corporate Accounting team for the monthly payroll tax returns and general ledger reconciliations.
- Working with the Finance Manager, Payroll on end of financial year deliverables including but not limited to end of year reconciliations.
- Provide strategic advice in relation to payroll matters, including advice on payroll and specific payroll calculations, basic salary packaging enquiries, investigation of payroll related issues.

**About You**
You will have strong attention to detail and be able to work closely with the Payroll manager to deliver key business outcomes whilst providing advice to all levels of the organisation. You will have demonstrated knowledge of payroll related taxation concepts (payroll tax, payg withholding requirements, fringe benefits tax and consultant related employment taxes).

- Excellent data entry skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Sound reconciliation skills.
- Proficiency in both Microsoft Excel and Word packages.
