**Position Information**:
Padstow Heights Public School is located in South West Sydney and has a student enrolment of 360. The school culture is that of genuine care for one another and connectedness, inclusion and belonging. Students, staff, parents and the wider community work together to promote school excellence.

**Selection Criteria**:
In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary

1. Demonstrated capacity to develop and lead high impact professional learning through outstanding instructional leadership with a focus on genuine relationships which influence quality teaching and learning structures to enhance a culture of high expectations, collaborative practice, distributive leadership and ongoing strategic school improvement.

2. Demonstrated school curriculum leadership, focused on reflective, evidence based and data informed practices with the ability to strategically lead change that results in every staff member and student improving every year.

3. Demonstrated ability to lead wellbeing and learning support initiatives, building a culture of inclusivity and support focused on student achievement and resilience with a deep understanding of current research and policies.

4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic executive team to drive continuous improvement and lead a culture of high expectations and trust, inspiring all students, staff and community to achieve their best.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policies
