**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Metal Fabricator to join our team in Welshpool, WA. Working within our purpose build facility, the Maintenance fitter is responsible for maintaining various plant equipment machinery safely and efficiently.

**Some of the duties you will be responsible for include**:

- Maintaining and repairing plant & equipment such as metal products and structures.
- Perform preventative maintenance schedules, attend breakdowns and perform repairs using various welding techniques to join metal components.
- Determining job requirements from drawings
- Use hand and machine tools to shape and bend metal components
- Minimise downtime and implement constant improvement initiatives.
- Carry out inspections.
- Supervise maintenance team and factory staff
- Contribute to team structures to achieve Maintenance targets.
- Involvement with Company’s continuous improvement targets.
- Actively taking part to resolve operational and HSEQ issues.

**About You**

**We are seeking someone who ideally has**:

- Cert 3 - Engineering trade qualification in either:

- Boilermaking
- Fabrication
- Welding
- A high level of technical and diagnostic skills
- Has good written, communication and numeracy skills
- Is flexibility within tight time schedules in accordance with variable workload demands
- Has troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities
- Holds a valid driver’s licence
- Forklift Licence - must have.
- _**Experience with conveyor belts is highly desirable**_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
