Disability Support Worker

We are seeking workers to join our pool of highly experienced Disability Support Workers.

Morning and evening shifts available, including Saturday’s and Sunday’s with potential to increase

**_Your key responsibilities & accountabilities _**
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered.
- Communicate effectively with our Clients, team & coordinators and participate in collaboration for our Clients needs.
- Understand, follow instructions, and responsive to our Clients needs.
- Provide personal cares, conversation, cleaning, cooking and various other types of support to our Clients as required.
- Have good rapport building skills.
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required.
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients.
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals.

**_To be Successful you must _**
- Hold CPR and first aid certificate
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card and blue cards
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have experience using a slide board
- Have experience in bowel therapy

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- bowel therapy: 1 year (preferred)
- slide board: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Card or Yellow Card (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
