Looking for an exciting opportunity to utilize your audit expertise? We're seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Internal Auditor to join a high-performing team within one of Australia's largest energy companies. Join them on their mission for a Net-Zero Australia.

Your responsibilities will include developing audit scopes, identifying control gaps, and contributing to the preparation of insightful audit reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in and lead audit engagements, adhering to set expectations and methodologies
- Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and risks through fieldwork and develop effective test plans
- Assess the effectiveness of risk management and assurance activities
- Contribute to the preparation of concise and valuable audit reports
- Engage with stakeholders and build networks for effective collaboration
- Support data analytics approach and contribute to data dashboard development
- Interpret data insights and assist with reporting

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of audit experience, preferably internal audit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and data analysis
- Membership or eligibility for ICAA or CPA
- Strong knowledge of audit processes, methodologies, and internal controls
- Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail
- Stellar stakeholder management skills and ability to foster relationships

Elective Skills (Desirable):

- Strong business acumen and understanding of prudent business practices
- Energy sector experience
- Audit issue management systems experience
