**Your new company**
This Federal Government Organisation is committed to improving the lives of people with the help of science. They are looking for an IT Support Officer to join their team in Hobart.

**Your new role**
You will assist with the delivery of IT services internally and support systems that underpin scientific research. Your role will include;
- Onsite Desktop support
- Service Desk function
- Deployment of PC desktops, laptops, LCD monitors, printers and other IT related equipment.
- Network Port patching
- Software fault assistance

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience providing Level 2 support
- Experience in Microsoft technologies and Mac Operating System
- Networking knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- You are an Australian Citizen

**What you'll get in return**
You will be working full time hours in this casual role until the end of the calendar year with the possibility of extension for another 6 months. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills set, work alongside very experienced colleagues, and grow in the role.
