About the team and role

Group Financial Crime Risk helps to protect the Bank, our customers and the communities we serve from the impacts of financial crime. An integrated department in Group Risk, the function helps to design, oversee, deliver and champion the activities that occur across the Bank to manage the risk of financial crime.

The Team Leader Scams - General Investigations is responsible for providing and supporting a large team across a 17hr 365-day roster. Key to your success will be ensuring team members are engaged and have a motivating work environment to perform to the KPI’s set to meet team goals.

**Responsibilities include**:
In line with our Active Ops framework, the preparation of weekly workload and resourcing plan forecasts and attendance at departmental weekly planning cycle meetings to discuss with Senior Manager and other Team Managers.
Managing and prioritising workflow to ensure service levels are achieved and urgent cases escalated.
Building and maintaining effective relationships with direct reports, customers, and partners.
Achieving financial and business objectives by effectively managing resources and maintaining appropriate skill levels.

You’ll report to Manager Fraud Operations and work in collaboration with a highly experienced peer. You’ll be responsible for a mid-sized team all based in Bendigo. Weekend and after hours work may be a requirement of the role

Experience, capabilities and qualifications

Experience in an Investigative / Fraud discipline
Experience in an analytical role or similar
Previous experience in a customer service focused role
Proven experience in Active Ops Workware (or similar tool) planning and understanding of the methodologies
Flexible work attitude in respect to undertaking a variety of tasks within tight time-frames and the ability to work both as part of a team and individually in a busy operational environment
Positive attitude with supportive and collaborative approach in a team environment
Ability to establish strong internal and external stakeholders working relationships
