**Overview**:
Little Scribblers Brookvale is a long day care facility that provides services in Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) from nursery to pre-school.
We are looking for a Centre Manager to join the team In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Centre. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Brookvale NSW.
**Main tasks**:
- Ensuring that the Centre is compliant with all relevant regulations, laws, and guidelines related to the provision of high-quality education and care for children. This includes conducting regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvements.
- Providing leadership and support to staff members, including providing training and professional development opportunities, as well as ensuring that staff members are motivated and engaged in their work.
- Ensuring that the Centre is providing high-quality education and care services to children, including reviewing and approving educational programs, and monitoring the implementation of the programs.
- Managing budgets and resources, including monitoring expenses, identifying areas where cost savings can be made, and ensuring that resources are being used efficiently and effectively.
- Building strong relationships with families and communities in the region, including regularly engaging with families, listening to their feedback and concerns, and working collaboratively with community groups and organizations to support the education and care of children.
- Ensure Little Scribblers facilitates a play-based learning environment developing learning programs responsive to children’s ideas, strengths and abilities that inspire independent learners.
- Promoting child wellbeing and preventing harm to children and young people by adopting and adhering to the National Principles of Child Safe Organisations.
- Ensuring all educators and staff are aware of and respond positively and consistently to children’s additional needs including adjustments and requirements; diet and allergies; developmental needs etc.
- Building effective networks and maintaining community links with early childhood practitioners within the local areas and other relevant community organisations and government agencies.
**Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience**:
- Relevant qualification, and 2 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for the relevant qualification.
**Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge**:
- Experience in leading a team.
- High level of creativity and professionalism in development of effective processes and procedures.
- Time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in liaising with stakeholders in varying capacities.
- Willingness to attend conferences, seminars and workshop for personal and professional development as required.

Annual salary will be between $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
