We're on the lookout for a Draftsperson with Autodesk Inventor software experience. This work is ready to start whenever you are.

We are currently seeking a Draftsperson with Autodesk Inventor software experience, for a Mining Services company in Bayswater, in Perth's Eastern suburbs.

This is an initial 3-4 month contract position, with the likelihood of extensions due to a solid pipeline of work.

This company primarily services the mining industry and works with a great group of clients.

You'll be responsible for:

- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models using Autodesk Inventor software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and revise drawings and models to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Perform calculations, analysis, and documentation to support design development and modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the project team and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Continuously improve your skills and stay current with industry trends and best practices.

You'll ideally have:

- Experience working with Autodesek Inventor in an engineering or drafting capacity.
- Strong knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and standards.
- Proficiency in creating and interpreting detailed technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to professionalism and collaboration.
- Familiarity with other CAD software and design tools is a plus
