ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Transporter will be an integral member of our hospital team and will assist with transporting patients throughout the hospital, and will support our ward Patient Services Assistants.- Permanent Full time position available.- Monday to Friday day shift, afternoon shifts available.- Applicant will be offered a ADO.- Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital.
ABOUT YOU:
Health Services Assistant Certificate 3, or working towards obtaining.- Current Food Handling Certificate.- Previous experience in Healthcare desirable.- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for attention to detail.- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.- A commitment to policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and members of the public.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
