The role is a contracted 3 month FIFO position, based in the Pilbara region of WA. The roster will be either 4 days on 3 days off or 8 days on and 6 days off.

In this role the Structural Integrity - Inspector will be responsible for performing structural inspections, assessing and reporting on damage/corrosion, as well as providing remedial scopes of work. You will liaise directly with clients on technical and commercial matters.

The skills sets that we are looking for are:

- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural)
- Iron Ore Mining Site experience with site based structural inspections
- Good working knowledge of AS4324.1, AS1170, AS4100, AS3600, AS1654
- Sound understanding of Asset Management, Product Lifecycle Management and Conditioning Monitoring of equipment and infrastructure such as balanced machines, cranes, structures, materials handling equipment, process equipment, civil works
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Sound knowledge of HSE and experienced with risk assessment processes.
- Working at heights ticket
- Confined space ticket

Other skills include:

- Experience with Navisworks
- Knowledge of CAD software and ability to use it to check drawings
- Experience with Bluebeam
- Experience with Spacegass
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to work autonomously

The role is contract-based starting on a 3 month contract with the possibility of entering a more permanent FIFO rostered role. Offering $65 - $70 an hour exclusive of Super. The project is expected to be ongoing for 2-3 years. We are seeking someone who is self motivated and keen to grow within the role.
