**About The Role**
As a Clinical Care Manager, you will work as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals. You will support the General Manager in leading the clinical aspects and governance of the care home. You will be required to oversee AN-ACC, care planning, risk assessments, infection control and case conferences.
**Duties**
- Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home
- Support and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and liaise with QEM with education
- Review clinical incidents, complaints and changes
- Lead compliance with AN-ACC assessments
- Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carers
- Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits
- Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements
- Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care
**Skills and Experience**
- Current AHPRA is essential
- Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essential
- Post grad qualification in aged care highly regarded
- Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds
- Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting
- Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities
- Highly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skills
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
