Warehouse Supervisor

Friends With Dignity is a volunteer-based not-for-profit registered charity that provides practical programs to assist survivors of domestic violence. They work in collaboration with refugee and crisis centres and other organizations recognizing that the mutual goal is to reduce the instances of domestic violence in Australia.

Friends with Dignity is 100% self-funded and does not charge the Victims they assist or the Refugees / Supporting organizations who refer their clients to Friends With Dignity. All Programs are gifted unconditionally.

**The Position**
We are looking for a Permanent part-time (3 days per week) Warehouse Supervisor based at the Meadowbrook warehouse. Working closely with volunteers, COO and CEO your duties will include:

- Receiving and managing all incoming donations
- Ensuring the effective storage of products and managing stock location to maximize efficiencies in picking and packing order
- Overseeing outgoing donations packs - in line with sanctuary demand
- Loading and unloading of vehicles & careful packing and unpacking of furniture and whitegoods
- Engaging and overseeing existing volunteers and ensuring they are adhering to WHS whilst on site
- Liaise with inventory controllers and donations coordinator to ensure stock is readily available in line with required levels
- Updating the stock management system as and when required
- Oversee the truck, safety aspects, and fuel levels etc

**About You**
- Previous experience and proven success in a similar role in a warehouse logistics role
- Physically fit - heavy lifting and physical exertion is part of the role
- Good leadership and organizational skills
- Technologically savvy with good IT literacy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective rapport building skills with a varied audience
- High attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
- Forklift tick and manual drivers license
