Recruitment Officer in Public Sector - Sydney CBD/ Hybrid - duration 4-6 months - $48ph + Super

**Your new company**
This Federal Government Agency is located in Sydney CBD is responsible for providing an independent review of a wide range of administrative decisions made by government and non-government bodies.

**Your new role**
As a Recruitment Officer you will report to the Recruitment & HR Coordinator and your main duties will be:

- Undertaking administrative processes relating to member onboarding and supporting members through the onboarding process using the HR Onboard system.
- Maintaining recruitment and onboarding systems, ensuring a high standard of record keeping and procedural compliance.
- Drafting contract offers, contracts for new starters and extensions.
- Being a point of contact regarding recruitment and onboarding and managing the department’s inbox and responding to requests by expediting all requested paperwork out for the offers.
- Liaising with Payroll by submitting new starter’s documentation to the department.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant experience in a similar administrative position within a recruitment team.
- Knowledge of the Recruitment process.
- Ability to manage systems.
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow complex processes and process information in an accurate manner.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use electronic recruitment and on-boarding systems
- Australian Public Service experience is desirable.
- Only Australian Citizens can be considered for this role.
