This role will be reporting into the Commission and Reconciliations Manager and sits within the Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) division of HSBC Australia. You will be responsible primarily to manage, control and implement commission payments to mortgage brokers along with utilising your data analytic skills to generate and conduct an analysis of reports to drive insights and outcomes outside your daily tasks.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Managing commissions reconciliations and payments for broker groups on a monthly basis.
- Addressing and managing daily commission enquiries by broker groups.
- Analysing data using statistical techniques and providing reports as required.
- Escalating commissions exceptions with recommendation to management for a suitable solution.
- Ensuring accuracy and maintenance is implemented across multiple brokers platforms.
- Supporting of commission related projects, change management and process improvements including review of process manuals to ensure they are current and updated as and when required.
- Providing support to the overall Mortgages team.

Requirements

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Extensive industry experience within Banking and Finance, mortgages or broker environment with strong working knowledge of broker account maintenance and commission payments.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, working across various platforms and data management.
- Excellent MI reporting skills with the ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of industry impacts and market movement relating to broker commissions.
- High level stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Intermediate to Advanced excel skills required.
- University Degree or equivalent preferred in Data/Financial Analysis related fields.
- Applied knowledge and experience with Visio desirable.
