Hands-on maintenance role.
- Lead the team by example and manage tasks.
- Located in Sandy Creek - Barossa Valley

Due to continued growth, Solar Eggs Farms are seeking a hands-on maintenance person to lead an experienced team of farm workers by example, whilst managing the daily, weekly, and monthly task on the farm.

This is a day-to-day operation hence ideally the successful applicant will live near the farm and be second response to emergency alarm calls.

You will have a flexible attitude to work hours as the rotating roster requires early mornings and weekend work, applicants must possess good communication and leadership skills, be mechanically minded, able to undertake physical work and have demonstrated experience as a team player.

**Daily Tasks**
- Work with and assist up to 12 staff.
- Farm duties including egg collection, hen management, flock removal and flock placement.
- Work planning and prioritisation.
- Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance.
- Identify opportunities for labour efficiency.
- Breakdown maintenance.

**Personal Attributes**
- Leadership to coach and develop team members by example.
- Previous farming experience - not necessarily poultry farms.
- Mechanically and or electrically minded.
- No task is beneath you.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Locum

Pay: $28.20 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:
