Swim Coach

Overnewton College is recruiting passionate and experienced swim staff to join the swim program at Overnewton College, Keilor.

**Session Dates**:We require someone for all of Term 1, attending twice-weekly sessions starting in February (dates TBC).

**Session Times**: 6am - 8:15am

**Year Level**:Year 5-12

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Planning and implementing weekly training sessions for students

Recording training data to monitor student progression

Assisting in team selection

Attend SSV and ACS swimming carnivals and competition

**Required Qualifications**:

- Working with Children Check
- First Aid Certificate HTLAID011
- Austswim OR Bronze, Silver, or Gold swimming coaching licenses, also accredited through Swimming Australia
- Previous / Current experience as a qualified swim instructor
- Strong knowledge of swim strokes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- coaching: 1 year (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
