**Purpose of the Role**

BGIS is seeking an experienced **Facilities Supervisor**to support a high-profile events and precinct client in Ascot Vale. This role is responsible for overseeing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), supervising subcontractors and maintenance teams, and ensuring contract KPIs and safety standards are achieved.

You will also play a hands-on role in preparing facilities and grounds for upcoming events ️, supporting a small, collaborative team that works together to achieve the greater good.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily facilities operations, including subcontractor management and CMMS oversight
- Manage invoices, budgets, and purchase order registers
- Supervise staff and ensure compliance with BGIS systems, contracts, and safety standards
- Act as the first point of contact for the BMS management office
- Provide 24/7 emergency support through an after-hours on-call system
- Conduct inspections and audits, ensuring facilities meet safety and operational standards
- Coordinate event-related inspections, damage assessments, and rectification worksPerform ad hoc grounds care tasks such as relocating sprinkler hoses, blowing debris, and leaf collection

**Education, Experience & Skills**

**Essential**:

- Strong experience in building/facilities management with integrated service delivery
- High-level financial knowledge and ability to manage budgets, invoices, and POs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (for reporting and stakeholder engagement)
- High School Certificate or equivalent

**Desirable**:

- Exposure to subcontractor tendering, scoping, and delivery management
- Formal facilities or building management qualifications
- Senior First Aid Certificate and current Driver’s Licence
- Certifications in high-risk environments (Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, EWP >11m)
