**Trainee Machine Operator**

Based in **Dandenong South,** this business specializes in the manufacturer and installation of fencing products and is currently looking for a punctual, reliable and hardworking Trainee Machine Operator that is not afraid of hard work or getting their hands dirty.

Initially you will be employed on a full-time temp basis transitioning into a permaent role after your training period. As the successful person, you will be responsible for using the chain link / helicoil machine (Intensive training provided)

This position will see you working on **Day Shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2.06pm.** After your 3-month training period you will then move onto the **Afternoon Shift **3:00 pm to 11:06 pm**

**Pay rate = $31.25 per hour DAY**
**= $35.94 per hour AFT**

**Key duties**:

- Use of Chain link and Helicoil machine
- Manually moving goods in a safe manner (lifting up to 25kg - 30kg)
- Perform various labouring / Warehousing duties as directed by the Production Manager

**The success applicant will be required to have**:

- No experience required, just need to have the right attitude and willingness to learn
- **Forklift Licence** is essential
- Must be physically fit and be able to lift up to 30kgs
- Knowledge of power tools is a must
- The ability to work well in a team
- Understand safety principles for yourself and others
