Reporting to the Operations Manager - The **Area Manager - New Mining Machines **is responsible for managing the financial and operational performance for the assembly of New Mining Machines against plan objectives whilst ensuring safety and quality are of the highest standard and that a continuous improvement mindset helps deliver increased efficiency through sustained process improvements. The right person will be customer focused and will represent WesTrac positively through all interactions.

**Roster**: 5:2

**About You**:

- Hold an applicable Tertiary Degree or Trade Qualification
- Have significant post qualification experience in Supervision and management in a relevant industry role, preferably including experience with Caterpillar or other large industrial machinery.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
- Be available for occasional site visits
- Have advanced leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise at a high level and diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability and drive to follow through with required actions
- Be able set and clearly communicate business targets and expectations aligned with WesTrac values
