Payroll Officer

**Description**:
Due to continued growth within the business, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join us at our Banyo site. As a member of the payroll team your main role will be to ensure all employee pays are processed nationally on time, accurately and in compliance with the Award/Agreement for each state.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working with an experienced Payroll team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
End to end weekly payroll processing.
Manage general queries and support the team.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address employee payroll inquiries and provide support.
Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless pay run.
Stay updated with payroll regulations and compliance requirements to ensure accurate payroll administration.
Assist in preparing payroll reports and contribute to process improvements for increased efficiency.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security in all payroll-related activities.
Support payroll related projects form a nation perspective where required.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
Previous experience in a similar role in a high volume, multi-site environment with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy in your work
Basic knowledge of payroll processes, legislation, and compliance is desirable.
Intermediate experience of Microsoft Office especially excel.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
